Never. Diagnosis, drug interactions, dosing, contraindications, 'is this safe for me?' — all defer to the provider.
What if a patient calls about a complication?
Routes immediately to the provider's after-hours line. If severe (swelling spreading, breathing issues), instructs the patient to seek emergency care. Doesn't try to triage on the phone.
Can she handle insurance?
Most med-spa work is cash-pay; she'll quote the consult fee. For HSA/FSA receipts, she takes the request and routes to the front desk.
Will she explain treatment prep?
Standard prep info from your config (e.g., 'avoid aspirin 24h before Botox'). Anything beyond that, defers to the provider.
